Q1: How are you creative in your career?

Sumedha: “Creativity, storytelling, and problem-solving is at the heart of my work. I believe when done right, it has the power to fuel emotion, shape perception, inform interaction, and inspire results. Two of my favorite ways to get creative at work is through collaborative ideation and experimentation sessions with my team, and immersive client workshops.”

Q2: What’s your favorite project you’ve ever worked on?

Sumedha: “My favorite project ever has been in the higher education and technology domain. Whether it be working with a university or launching education programs with the Government, my background in engineering and communication is leveraged and put to solid use with new market launches and driving strategic marketing and communication campaigns.”

Q3: If you had to give 1 piece of advice to other creatives looking to start a career in your field, what would you say?

Sumedha: “Cultivating this deep understanding of your target audience may require extra effort upfront, but it will pay dividends in the long run. It’s crucial that you invest time in research, data analysis, and gaining empathetic insights about your target audience. This will inform every aspect of your work – from strategy to messaging, to the platforms you choose, creative concepts you develop, and to building lasting relationships with your clients.”

Q4: Do you have a highlighted project you’d like to share or something you’ve created recently that you are proud of?

Sumedha: “My recent project with a repeat customer – Aurora Wellness – was this summer’s highlight. We’d initially branded their launch last year with a digital identity and website. This year, they’d returned to us to help expand their business with robust email campaigning, website spruce up, and social media video packages.”
