About
Monument Women's Creative Alliance was founded in 2018 by a group of like-minded creatives.
OUr Story
Meet our Founders
Rachel and Hazel founded MWCA in 2018 to create a welcoming space where female creatives can connect, inspire and support one another. As creatives themselves, they wished we had a community that was made just for us.
They had this dream of bringing women creatives in Baltimore together to exchange ideas, collaborate and connect.
Our Impact
“Find people who help build bridges, have been where you are and lift you up. It’s been a critical part of our business journey and we’re proud to pay it forward via Monument Women’s Creative Alliance.”
-Rachel & Hazel
Our Core Values
Commitment to Community
Community embedded into every part of what we do and why we do it. We are a community in action – we create, connect, convene, celebrate, support, and serve the women who are a part of this community and the larger Baltimore community around us.
Sponsoring Women
Empowering women isn’t just about providing resources; it’s about creating a culture of support that lifts everyone higher. Together, we’re building a future where women creatives lead boldly, collaborate meaningfully, and realize their fullest potential.
Equity & Equality
Our work extends beyond individual empowerment. By amplifying the voices and talents of women creatives, we contribute to broader efforts for social equity in Baltimore and beyond. The ripple effects of this work are real and transformative.
Open Hearts and Minds
We believe that open hearts and minds are the foundation for meaningful growth. By fostering curiosity, active listening, and collaboration, we create spaces where creative relationships flourish and opportunities for both personal and professional development thrive.
