Welcome to our Coffee With a Creative series!
Join us for a virtual morning coffee chat with Ali True Smith, the Founder of
True Balance Studio and creator of the No Burpees Training Method. With over 35
years of experience, Ali has dedicated her career to developing a fitness
approach that’s safe, sustainable, and empowering— designed especially for those
with past injuries, limited time, or a desire to avoid the pain and risk of
traditional “hardcore” workouts.
Whether you’re joining us from your living room, your office, or your favorite
cozy spot, grab your coffee (or tea!) and get ready for an inspiring
conversation about movement, longevity, and finding joy in fitness.
About the Speaker:
Ali’s journey reflects a lifelong commitment to making fitness safe,
sustainable, and accessible for every body. Drawing on her Bachelor’s in
Kinesiology, Master’s in Holistic Nutrition, and certifications in personal
training, yoga, kickboxing, and massage therapy, Ali developed the No Burpees
Training Method. This method focuses on gradual progression, balance,
coordination, strength, and flexibility— empowering people to move confidently
without fear of re-injury.
Her career includes extensive training with the Equinox Fitness Training
Institute (EFTI) and working with clients like Janice Dickinson and Dolph
Lundgren. Since opening True Balance Studio in 2007, Ali has helped countless
individuals rediscover movement that feels good, is sustainable, and fits into
everyday life. Her philosophy: if you can’t touch your toes, you shouldn’t be
asked to do twenty burpees.
