About the Speaker

Heather’s journey in the television and film industry has been anything but
boring — from film school and a stint with Disney in Hollywood to developing TV
shows that turned heads and having two short films hit the festival circuit with
critical acclaim. Along the way, she realized her true calling: producing videos
that could make the world a better place. As a founder and executive producer at
Make A Scene Media, she strives to educate, engage, and uplift through
documentary-style video for small businesses and purpose-driven organizations.
Her expertise as a trauma-informed Court Appointed Children’s Advocate (CASA)
and Domestic Violence Services volunteer further fuels her passion, making her a
creative force for impactful storytelling.
