Join us for Coffee With a Creative featuring Cassie Paton, Messaging Strategist
& Brand Copywriter. From journalism and copywriting to digital marketing,
business operations, and most recently yoga teaching, Cassie’s creative journey
has taken many different forms, each shaping the work she does today.
Since 2008, she’s written for hundreds of brands and publications, conducted
hundreds of interviews, and learned to recognize the throughline in seemingly
different chapters of her career: deep inquiry, pattern recognition, and seeing
the bigger picture. Today, Cassie helps founders and thought leaders strip away
the nonessential, refocus their brands around the work they most want to be
known for, and realign their businesses accordingly.
Together, we’ll get to know more about Cassie’s creative journey, the unexpected
turns that brought her to the work she loves, and what she’s learned along the
way about creativity, business, and finding valuable clarity. The goal isn’t
clarity for clarity’s sake. It’s to become known and valued for the work you
love best!

About the Speaker:
Meet Cassie Paton, Messaging Strategist & Brand Copywriter. Since 2008, she’s
written for hundreds of brands and publications. She’s worn the hats of
award-winning blogger, journalist, and digital marketer, to name a few.
Then, she spent several years in real estate operations, which taught her a lot
about growing a business but didn’t make for a tidy career narrative, or so she
thought. Along the way, she’s also been a journalist, copywriter, business
operations manager, and, most recently, a yoga teacher.
The throughline? Deep inquiry, pattern recognition, and seeing the bigger
picture.
Cassie has been writing professionally since 2008 and has conducted hundreds of
interviews along the way. Today, she translates complexity into plain language,
simple strategy, and smart decisions, helping clients evolve their brands into
ones that are easier to understand, their businesses into ones that are easier
to run, and their messages into ones they can say with their whole chest.
